Or, “Upgraded Puzzle Quest” with more enemies and many more levels. I’ve been enjoying this game ever since it was given to me as a gift! The only thing I don’t particularly care for is how much it keeps asking for money, but it’s never required to pay for anything on this game. (But isn’t that the most dangerous part of games like this? XD)
I only play the game with the computer player and, just like in Puzzle Quest, the computer seems to know what pieces are dropping from the top of the board. It’s not so bad that the game isn’t enjoyable but it’s always worth keeping in mind when the game suggests a move.
But here is the world that you’re playing in! It’s huge and every one of these spaces has its own story.
There are several things to play with in the games setting if we don’t want to play in the main world. Much of it is often timed but it’s always fair–I don’t really play these things but the pets are often worth it. (They give help to your fighter if they’re gotten from these Pet Rescue sections, so it’s often worth it to play!)
This kingdom is asking for 4000 coins to open it and you get these from winning battles. I’d say that the gold earned is pretty fair for each win and failure. You don’t leave with absolutely nothing after a fight even if you do lose, either! So you tend to have enough game money when you need it!
And whether you choose to open a location or not, you tend to have a handful of things to play with! Have a look:
Each of those diamonds at the bottom is something that you have to defeat, it’s always worth it in my opinion! But we’re finally at the battle! The very thing that got me hooked on Puzzle Quest!
Match the same colors and skulls to attack the enemies on the right. Even if they happen to win, you get to keep trying all you like, even if you need to step back to another previous section so you can level up a few times.
In all, I’d recommend this game as much as I recommended Puzzle Quest!
