Dad (the other artist in the house) came in here to give ideas for what details could be added; we played around putting a fence and what became the dirt road. Got some confirmation that the fence has helped sell the depth in the greenery! We’ll see how the wildflowers grow around the rocks? We’ll have to see when it finally happens.
Gosh it would help if Mom would tell me what she wants on it. I know I’m working on it but I need crits and suggestions! XD It’ll be her desktop! (She doesn’t want to interfere, to be fair. And she doesn’t quite know what or how to suggest things so I’m not blaming her whatsoever.)
But since I’ve gotten no crits from her, I’ve moved on to the fun detail adding point.
Putting the boards onto the house was such a better idea than just leaving it so dark like before!
Did manage to get some critiques from tutor and some other folks in the chatrooms I’m in and got some texture in the grass and in the stones. That was so needed…it’s great and fits perfect.
Also had fun turning the road into a dirt one as well. That gray road just wasn’t fitting at all anymore and I’m loving how this worked out! And of course there is grass growing under the fence. Grass knows it owns its place and it does not care that something was put there by people. It will claim its location like the royal it is! XD
