And he’s easier to play when you use some of the shields. MUCH easier to get further ahead when using shields. But isn’t it just more fun not to?
…or am I the only one to try to get through a floor without using the shielding? I learned a long while ago that they have to be used. First version of the game taught that oh too well. But why would I want to use my moves without attacking?
Of COURSE one uses shields to get to the next section. But it makes me whiiine to have to shield vs attack! But why not make it further? That’s the point of the game, right? It’s part of the reason I don’t make it that far regularly. XD
But I’ve made it to floor 3! Here’s a tad of proof:

These little dudes weren’t asleep! XD Just that giant purple bug.
Here’s a fun room! I always hope this one turns up, the money’s helpful no matter which option you choose:

And about my whining about having to use shields…well, that’s the point of the game. Do you take one of your 3 energy points to use a shield, or do you try to blow your whole way through with just using the healing sections? Prefer playing that way myself but you have to be able to make it to the healing spaces!
Got a choice between a cursed chest of gold and a small chest of gold. Of course we’d take the cursed box and it’s 333 gold, right? XD

The next few floors bring me to this guy. Argh, nooo. Let’s hope that I got my deck of cards built well enough to fight him! @@

So far I haven’t been able to beat this guy with the Ironclad. …I hope that backs off this time! XD
Oh my gosh, I was able to throw enough shields up to keep the waterfall dude from exploding and taking my health to zero! Made it to stage 2!

Will see you later to see how far we get next time!
