A couple walking along the lake while the fisherman sits there so quietly as he just waits for a nice catch to clean up for lunch at camp.
Of course the dog’s watching the two who are strolling by. Much more interesting than the fellow who is just sitting there watching the waters bob and wave. Is this guy really trying to catch anything? Well. That doesn’t matter. The dog’s gonna sit there and keep his friend company since the man would have to be hopelessly bored without him to chat with.
Where are those two headed? Maybe to a dock a little further away so they can visit the town while they’re nearby. Or, most likely, just enjoying each other’s company while they don’t have to be in the middle of everything like is often needed in their tribe.
This painting has been so much fun to work with; figuring out its puzzle and just getting to paint another lake! Looking forward to the next scene.
