1st Floor bathroom |
To show the first floor’s bathroom, I added lights and made it dark so you could see details of this 2×3 bathroom. Yes, I put a wall to sink window here…Sims won’t care about that, right? And since you no doubt see the ladder to the second floor, let’s hop up there for a moment.
2nd Floor bathroom |
Have I mentioned how much magic bb.moveobjects on is? Because without it, I could never get away with a shower in front of a door. Makes a perfect small bathroom for what is going to be a bedroom!
1st Floor finished |
Got a little carried away with this so just took the screenshot after painting and settling everything. This floor has the kitchen and living room area, along with a table and laptop on the left. The painting job is a bit odd but I like it more than I should, so it gets shared. And this is almost the first time a rug doesn’t have to be fought with just to make it fit!
…as terrible as the Sims can be for the characters, isn’t it so great that it’s cheap to get to repaint everything to their liking when they move in? XD So at least I get to share my painting choices.
1st Floor second angle |
Took this shot since, for some reason, I decided that the desk and laptop wasn’t well seen. Really glad to that it shows the entry that I finally settled on! This floor just didn’t have enough windows, really. Thank goodness that the Sims is good at taking care of that for me.
2nd Floor finished |
Here’s the second floor. Bed and outdoor area settled nicely, plus how that 1×3 tile bathroom looks now that there’s stuff actually sitting by it.
You’ll also notice that a couple trees seem to have sprung up in the backyard. Decided that they look pretty nice so let them hang out there…especially that they did this without my permission! I was busy looking to the neighbors’ houses to see what kinda plants lived there and, when I returned, these two were just in place. Tsk and tsk, right? XD
House and Yard |
Pretty happy with how all of this fit! Couldn’t decide what else to put in the yard, so maybe the sim that’ll live here will enjoy the extra space. There’s plenty of other places in Willow Creek for someone to actually go if they feel up to it.
So, the first thing I realize after finishing this build? I need to stop making houses out of boxes and just leaving them as boxes. XD Houses don’t always just look like squares, after all! We’ll see if I do this next time I build. Do I know why I’m so addicted to Tiny Living, by the way? …nope, not at all.
I’ll probably add this to the Gallery so you guys can fix it up properly–keep an eye out for CeraNecci to add Hollow Slough, if you’re interested!
If you do this, please let me know. I’d like to see what y’all do with it!
