Here is Peinkr after another restart to get used to the game. Thanks to a friend, I’ve learned there were too many schools, previously. As well as too many hospitals for however few townspeople there are. (And that I needed a train station on both ends of the railway. XD Darn, do you mean Sims *won’t* just leap out of a moving train?! Who woulda guessed.)
Really having more fun with this game than I thought I would be. Many thanks to that same friend for introducing it to me!
That lake around the hospital could stand to be larger. It barely looks like a puddle at the moment! XD And now that it’s a hair closer, I can see another spot or two that needs connected to the road. Can happen soon!
Now I have that train station, maybe it could stand to be put closer to the end of the railway? Provided it fits down there, anyway. There’s plenty of hilly areas in that space so I don’t know if it will. Time to find out later! ^^
Saturday Apr 5:
Have played a bit more and gotten a bit more instruction on what to look for and what to do. This place is much larger and it has to be closer to what the game actually wants! Have a look!
Hopefully, I have the arrangement of Residential and Commercial set up right…I don’t have a picture of when I was building, but here’s what I did; layed down a larger splotch of Residential area and painted some smaller Commercial into it. So they might have plenty of places to buy and keep the money coming in. (That’s what I was doing wrong by making smaller pieces like in my original space. It looked better to my eye but there wasn’t enough people to work and buy things…)
And here’s the second half of the town. On the right, there’s the beginning of a couple bridges–those happened when the mouse went flying out of my control, so I’m not sure exactly what I did to build them. Maybe just drawing road over the water? Will have to learn when I know more of what I’m doing.
Even better! The town hasn’t gone into the red yet. Usually it does so before I’m even finished so this is much better. I also haven’t had to worry about a train yet, either. Much better! And I can’t wait til it lets me have access to the Highway roads…unless I have to rebuild places in the already built town. XD I *hate* the endless roadwork in real life; sorry if I end up doing it too, you poor Sims!
And before I was able to get finished for the day…Tornado! @@ I hope they can clean up and rebuild from that!
