Have to be very honest, I’ve been so hooked on playing a few games lately instead of drawing my sketches and everything. These deckbuilder games have been taking up my attention when I’m not sketching or playing Gems…so why not chat about them? Maybe y’all will have fun with them too.
The first one is Night of the Full Moon: https://store.steampowered.com/app/769560/_Night_of_Full_Moon/
This one is free to play so if you’re searching for a free deckbuilder, this is definitely one to check. I’ve not had to bother buying any of the content as of yet but they’re rather cheap if you find any interest in them.
Roguebook: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1076200/Roguebook/
This one is 24.99 US if it’s not on sale, but I’m certain the price is going to be worth it when it is! One of the comments mentions that its rules are similar to Slay the Spire (so definitely worth it to me!) and most of the comments approve of the game. Maybe check it out when things are properly on sale but it’s been fun to toy with!
Oaken: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1348690/Oaken/
When it’s not on sale, it’s 19.99 so definitely cheaper than Roguebook but it definitely seems like it’s going to be just as fun as the other two I’ve mentioned. Again, read the comments but you’ll see they’re also generally good. This one seems to have some strategy that you’ll be led through in the tutorial (one can go through it as many times as you’ll like, thankfully!) but be ready to learn that. And I’m sure we can watch it on Youtube to see how others play? Worth it!
Hope y’all enjoy yourselves when the prices are better! And they do play in windowed mode if you happen to like them like that. Win win!
