So I bought Slay the Spire 2 on April 17…I definitely enjoy the game. It’s well worth its money!

Sixty-five hours played in total and 53 of them on Ironclad. I did say I love the character the other day and this clearly was no lie! XD I’ll be posting another week of how this game played for me and you’ll get to hear if it’s another loss. (Why not? It happens all the time if you don’t build the deck right. XD)
I’m sorry that I can’t share my first win again but maybe you’ll get to see the very first 4th Ascension. Playing Ironclad again, here we go!

Well of COURSE I’m gonna choose the potion slot. Hope that doesn’t turn around and whack me in some form. XD
And so the Ironclad starts! I’ll continue choosing to get more ? rooms if I can on my current path. Here’s the one I plan to take:

Room 4 gave Ironclad this card. One of the good ones! So here goes to room 5

If only I had used shields more before getting here…should still get past. One more fight before a rest site but this card should do well!

Well…nicer if I think to use the shields properly. XD That Rampage card did very well, was able to take out that second dude before I lost more than 39 health. Got to get a nice card, too, by the end of the battle. At the camp, got to get back up to 63 health!

This one has won plenty battles for me! Let’s hope that it does the same this time. XD Did I mention I really don’t like the main boss for this floor? Not there yet…maybe the deck will be built proper by that time.
While wandering the area to get to the next battle, Ironclad came across a chest that held a great thing to have on the very long path upward!

Well how nice! And he’s selling a 150 gold tea that’ll give me 2 strength in the next 5 fights? Heck yeah!

I REALLY don’t like this dude. XD And of course Ironclad doesn’t…he doesn’t have the mind not to be full of fury anymore. So at least we’re agreed on that. Here’s hoping it gives me enough shields as needed! (And now is time to use that potion of Plating that I have. 7 turns with shielding matching the number left!)

Yeaaah, we’ll see if I’m playing this level again. Doubt I’m getting the 24 damage needed this time! @@

XD Nope, Ironclad was turned into a mini enemy this time around. Left him too damaged to deal with that blame stinger is what I did. We’ll see how the next game goes on Thursday!
