I’ve been toying around with some simple acrylic painting, for the first time since about ’06. It’s been so very fun to relearn how to mix some paint and make the colors what I want.
Yes, I painted the sky in the wrong order–serves me right to not remember how the layer system works in traditional paints. XD I half want to repaint the tree anyway, the green’s a little odd and the trunk is totally redwood instead of our basic tree.
Haven’t gotten back after the tree trunk yet nor have I added much else, but happy so far! It’s so fun to just play with these paints and the brushes seem to be behaving pretty well!
